CBDR : Information for Participants

Rules
  1. Do not register for the same experiment more than once.
  2. Use only your full official name when registering for experiments.
Violations of these rules may be punishable by permanent banishment from future use of the web site.

Showing your ID
When you show up for an experimental session, you may be asked to show picture ID to prove your identity. If you cannot prove your identity, or the name under which you registered does not exactly match the name on your ID, you may be turned away without compensation.

Failing to show up
Failure to show up for 3 different experiments for which you have registered will result in you being permanently banned from registering for experiments on our web site.

Canceling your registration
If you need to cancel for an experiment that you registered for, simply follow the instructions in the email you got when you registered for the experiment.

Registering
Please register using your full name as it appears on your ID card.

Grievances
If you believe you have been treated unfairly in an experiment, please contact the lab manager cbdr-lab@andrew.cmu.edu so that we may attempt to address the issue and see to it that it doesn't happen again. We want to know if experimenters are cancelling experiments without sufficient notice, failing to show up, or treating participants disrespectfully.

Thanks for participating in experimental research! Please feel free to follow up with the experimenter to ask about the results of the research in which you participated.

Please e-mail cbdr-lab@andrew.cmu.edu if you have any questions
